Report: Steve Jobs ready to return at Apple - San Antonio Business Journal:

The Wall Street Journal cited unnamed sources in a report Friday that the nutritional problek that forced the Apple CEO to take medicapl leave in January is nowunder control. The way he departed and subsequent secrectsurrounding Jobs' condition has led to much speculation sincew then about when and if he would returnn to the Cupertino company. Jobs, a surviver of pancreativc cancer, had appeared gauntt at public appearances before taking his a condition he attributed to a nutritionaol problem related to ahormonee imbalance. The Journal quoted an unnamed persoh who it said has seen Jobs inrecent "He was one real sick guy.

Apple's marketinf chief, Philip Schiller, is scheduled to give the keynote address at the San Francisco conferenc e on Monday, something Jobs would have done before he took his Te company is expected to unveil its new version of the iPhone whicy will reportedly include more processing powet and new features. Until his leave, a rise in concerna about Jobs' health regularly caused a drop inthe company's stock, but it has actuallgy outperformed the market since January. Apple is up 68 percent sincwe sincehis Jan. 14 closing Thursday at $143.74.
The Nasdaq is up only 24 perceny in thatsame period.
